Late veteran Nollywood filmmaker, Amaka Igwe, has been honoured with a Google Doodle on her 57th posthumous birthday.
Ekohotblog recalls that Amaka Igwe, Nollywood icon passed on 28 April 2014 in her home town.
A Google Doodle is a special, temporary alteration of the logo on Google’s homepages intended to commemorate holidays, events, achievements and notable historical figures.
The doodle went live on today Thursday, 2nd January, 2019 as an honour of late Igwe’s contributions to Nollywood. She was a Nigerian filmmaker and broadcasting executive. Igwe was the owner of Top Radio 90.9 Lagos and Amaka Igwe Studios.
