Google: Tiwa Savage Sex Tape, Fury Fight, Others Make Top Trending Searches

Ekohotblog Google has stated that a sex tape involving Nigerian female popstar Tiwa Savage was one of the top trending searches in October.

The completion of the highly anticipated boxing match between Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder attracted the curiosity of Nigerian sports lovers on Google as well.

On Friday in Lagos, Google confirmed this in its October search trends report.

Other hot subjects in October include World Teachers’ Day and the one-year anniversary of the 2020 #EndSARS demonstrations.

In a commemorative vehicle parade, Nigerian youths and celebrities passed through the Lekki toll gate in Lagos.

The march was led by Folarin Falana, called Falz, and Debo Adebayo, aka Mr Macaroni.

According to Google, other intriguing searches by Nigerians in October included the launches of popular songs Alcohol and Levels by Joe Boy and Flavour, respectively.

Nnamdi Kanu’s Biafra was also a top searched phrase by Nigerians who were interested in the current trial of the pro-Biafran political activist and the Federal High Court in Abuja’s delay of his court case till November 10.

The search trends information is gleaned from data collated by Google based on what Nigerians have been searching for and asking Google.
