The government of Kwara state led by Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, has appointed 16 new commissioners for the state.
The commissioners were approved by the Kwara State House of Assembly on Thursday.
The newly appointed commissioners include Hajia Sa’adatu Modibo-Kawu, Dr Raji Rasaq, Alhaji Muritala Olarewaju, Mrs Aremu Deborah and Hajia Aisha Ahman-Patigi, Hajia Sa’adatu Modibo-Kawu, Dr Raji Rasaq, Alhaji Muritala Olarewaju, Mrs Aremu Deborah and Hajia Aisha Ahman-Patigi.
Others were Mrs Oyeyemi Florence, Mr Lafia Aliyu Kora, Mrs Ahmed Bisola, Mrs Oyedun Funke, Mr Agbaje Femi, Ms Joanna Kolo and Hajia Arinola Lawal.
The Speaker of House, Yakubu Salihu, disclosed that the house was satisfied with the screening of all nominees which came to end on Tuesday.
He said “Today’s exercise marked the end of the screening as all the nominees were screened over three legislative days and confirmed for appointment as commissioners in the State Executive Council.”
