Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun, on Thursday, inaugurated some projects in Ijebu Ode Local Government Area.
The governor, who was represented by the commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Afolabi Afuape, said, “This administration is ready and willing to make local governments in the state more viable, and not just mere salary-paying centres, we hope to get regular feedback from you, to enable us to know your priority needs.”
The projects inaugurated include; the 500 KVA Transformer at Isiwo; 500 KVA Transformer at Imupa; 20 Open Stalls at Abattoir Market, Yemule; Shopping Complex at Arcade Ground; and Shopping Complex at Oke Aje Market.

The Chairman, Transition Committee, Ijebu Ode Local Government, Engr. Olugbenga Olugbile, during the ceremony revealed that the release of funds by the governor added to the Internally Generated Revenue had greatly helped the local government in the execution of the projects.
