Gov Buni Flags Up Construction Of Roads, Drainages In Yobe

Mai Mala Buni, Governor of Yobe State has flagged off the construction of township roads and drainages in Geidam.

This is according to a statement by Buni’s Senior Special Assistant on Digital Media, Isa Sanusi.

He said the project is part of the administration’s urban and rural development plan.

According to him, the project would would enhance movement and promote environmental hygiene, when completed.

Buni assured that the government will ensure full supervision of the project to see that the work meets the standards.

“More projects will be carried out in the areas of water, rural and urban electricity and sanitation”, Sanusi said.

The aide listed completed projects as township roads and concrete drainages in Damagum, Fune LGA, and township roads and concrete drainages in Buni Yadi, Gujba LGA.

Others are township roads and concrete drainages in Malammatari of Damaturu, township roads and concrete drainages in Jajimaji, Karasuwa LGA, and township roads and concrete drainages in Babban gida, Tarmuwa LGA.
