Gov. Okowa Appoints Daughter As Political Aid
The Delta State Governor, Ifeanyi Okowa, has appointed one of his daughters as political aid in his administration.
Okowa revealed this while addressing newsmen at a quarterly briefing in the state’s capital, Asaba on Tuesday.
The Governor noted that his daughter was rightly qualified for the post she was appointed to occupy.
He said “It is not true that I have two of my daughters appointed. I have only one appointed and she is rightfully qualified.”
“I do not have any daughter on social media. The one appointed for girl child education is rightfully qualified,” Okowa added.
The Governor noted that he has no apology for his action.
Okowa said “I do not have any apologies for that because I know the quality of daughter that I have.”
