Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike, has expressed shock following the death of his Special Assistant on Electronic Media, Simeon Nwakaudu.
It was gathered that Nwakaudu suddenly took ill and was rushed to the Rivers State University Teaching Hospital (RSUTH) where he passed on at about 2 pm on Saturday.
Though the nature of his sickness was unknown, Wike described late Nwakaudu, who hails from Abia State as a loyal and dedicated professional who contributed immensely to the implementation of The New Rivers Vision.
The governor in a statement signed by the Commissioner for Information and Communication, Paulinus Nsirim, condoled with Nwakaudu’s family and prayed God to grant them the fortitude to bear the great loss.
