During the presentation of the budget which he christened, ‘Budget of Blush and Bliss,’ Ayade said, “N192.5bn representing 69 per cent of the budget, is for recurrent expenditure, while N85.1bn, representing 31 per cent, is for capital expenditure.
“The budget will focus more on humanitarian activities such as alleviation of hunger and poverty, youth development, massive opportunities to lift people from poverty, conditional cash transfer, putting food on the table, just to ensure that citizens are happy, the youth have hope, bursary and scholarship.”
He noted that it was time for reconstruction after hoodlums hijacked the #EndSARS protest and destroyed public and private property in the state.
