• Governor Makinde has visited the Abolongo Correctional Facility.

EKOHOTBLOG reports that the governor of Oyo State, Seyi Makinde, has on Sunday visited the Abolongo Correctional Facility which was attacked by gunmen on Friday evening.

This online news platform had earlier reported that the Abolongo Correctional Facility was attacked on Friday night by unknown gunmen.

The gunmen, this online news platform had reported, used grenades to gain access and set all the prisoners at the facility free.

As gathered by EKOHOTBLOG, the incident was confirmed by the spokesman for the Nigerian Correctional Service (NCS) in Oyo State, Olanrewaju Anjorin, on Saturday.
