Governor Sanwo-Olu Mourns Late Ondo SSG, Temitayo Oluwatuyi

Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has expressed his condolences over the passing of the Secretary to the Ondo State Government, Temitayo Oluwatuyi, who tragically died on Saturday.

Eko Hot Blog reports that Oluwatuyi had been hospitalized for three weeks following a road accident that occurred on December 15, 2024, along the Ife-Ibadan Road.

In a statement, Governor Sanwo-Olu described Oluwatuyi’s death as a great loss, acknowledging his significant contributions to the development of Ondo State.

He extended his sympathies to Ondo State Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, the Ondo State Government, the family of the deceased, and the people of Ondo State.

Governor Sanwo-Olu offered prayers for strength and comfort during this difficult time, emphasizing the importance of unity and support in overcoming the grief caused by the loss of a dedicated public servant like Temitayo Oluwatuyi.

“The late Hon. Tayo Oluwatuyi was a patriot who gave his all to the service of Ondo State and its people.

His contributions to the development of the state will not be forgotten,” the governor said in a statement by his spokesman, Gboyega Akosile.

He also recalled the late Oluwatuyi’s previous role as Chairman of Akure South Local Government Area and as SSG to the late Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu.
