Gowon Inaugurates Automobile Centre In Asaba

General Yakubu Gowon, a former Head of State in Nigeria has urged the Delta State Government to create the enabling environment for investors to thrive.

Gowon made the call on Monday while inaugurating Nekxen Automobile Centre in Asaba.

He said, “I’m delighted to be part of this inauguration today. It is a laudable project and I commend the investor for bringing this project back home.

In his remarks, the Delta State Governor, Ifeanyi Okowa, said the state government would partner the auto centre especially through patronage.

Okowa, represented by the Chief of Staff, Mr David Edevie, said, “You know that government’s vehicles are always on the road; so to ensure maximum service, we will offer your automobile centre all government vehicles to repair.”
