Grace For Impact To Take Quality Healthcare Services To South-West States

Grace For Impact, a non-profit international organisation has announced that it would take healthcare services to states in the South-west Nigeria in November.
The NGO focuses on providing high-quality healthcare and education to some of the poorest countries around the world.
The NGO revealed that the free medical mission would cover Ogun, Oyo, Osun and Lagos States respectively.
The initiative, tagged, “Nigeria 2019: Restore Sight, Change Lives” will focus on healthcare, education and capacity development.
Thus far, in 2019, Grace For Impact has taken its mission to Ghana, Côte d’Ivoire, Tanzania and Vietnam.
The CEO of Grace For Impact, Ms Amanda Childress, disclosed this during an exclusively interview with ekohotblog.com.
She noted that the initiative would focus on South West states with visits to Abeokuta Prison, Ekiti State, Ikogosi, Ede, Ibadan and Lagos state.

“We are familiar with the terrain in Nigeria and we are confident that our trip this time around will be as impactful as previous missions,” she said.

The visits will also include a CPR Training at the Adeleke University, Osun State; a visit to Oba Abolarin School, Oke Ila for the screening of students and the Nigeria Police Eye Screening in Ado and Ede respectively.
According to her, “access to quality healthcare and education are key and critical to breaking the vicious cycle of poverty and that every person should have the opportunity to maximise their potential.”
The organisation seeks to break the cycle of poverty by providing demand-driven, scalable and sustainable solutions by engaging and supporting the rural poor through cost-effective, health and education solutions, to create a tangible and lasting impact.
As part of its numerous interventions, an 85-year-old woman who couldn’t afford a reading glasses was provided one, making her able to read for the first time in 20 years.

Since its inception in 2006, the foundation has provided $28M in life-changing support and services to more than 155,000 beneficiaries across the globe.
