The Call was made on behalf of the groups over the weekend by the Director-General of Asiwaju Success Mandate, Prince Oladipupo Kassim during the launching of the groups in Epe.
According to Prince Kassim, it was important to embark on the program to garner adequate support for Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.
He noted in his address that loyal party supporters who have collected their PVCs must protect them based on the effective powers the PVC possess in enthroning Asiwaju Bola Tinubu as the next President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
He also noted that it was not enough for his die-hard loyalists to fill the social media space with pictures of Asiwaju without having the instrument of electoral victory.
“It is no news that the PVC is the most effective tool any candidate can influence to win at the polls. If all the diehard supporters of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu truly love and support his dream of becoming the President of Nigeria, they should be armed with their PVCs by now.
“Yes, it is good to get the social media space awash with his posters, banners and all other campaign medium but more importantly, is the collection and safeguarding of their instrument of electoral victory at the polls, the PVC,” he stated.
He, therefore, applauded the Governor of Lagos State, His Excellency, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu and his Deputy, Dr Kadri Obafemi Hamzat, for their tireless efforts towards the PVC collection exercises across the state. This, he said, has exponentially increased the number of PVC collected in the State.
“Our amiable Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu and his Deputy, Dr Obafemi Hamzat, have done tremendously well in making sure Lagosians get their PVC across the State. As loyalists to the Presidential cause of Asiwaju, the logistic supports that were in place are commendable and this is an assurance that they’re unquestionably loyal BATallions,” he said.
The launching was graced by some political stakeholders such as the National Coordinator of the Asiwaju Success Mandate, Mrs Kassim Funmilola; Coordinator for Tinubu Movement Group (TMG), Mrs Ayinde TI; Secretary to Ogun State (TMG), Mr Atoyegbe Olusegun; Ekiti state coordinator, Mr Omotayo Johnson; Oyo state coordinator, Mr Owolabi Ibidun; Ondo state coordinator, Hon Foluke Omowunmi amongst others.
According to Olori Kassim Funmilola, she stressed that it has become imperative for loyalists of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu to begin house-to-house and door-to-door mobilisation campaigns across their localities. This, she said, is capable of increasing the electoral success of Asiwaju.
