The attacker, who approached in a truck from the Jordanian side, exited the vehicle and opened fire, according to the IDF. Security forces “neutralized” the gunman, and the IDF is now inspecting the truck for potential explosives.
Medics identified the victims as men in their 50s. In response, Jordan has closed its side of the border and is investigating the incident.
