Gunmen Abduct IMT Student In Enugu

  • An IMT student in Enugu has been abducted by gunmen.

  • The student was whisked away on Thursday while on his way to school from his Emene residence.

  • The father of the abducted student confirmed to journalists that the abductors have contacted him.

EKO HOT BLOG reports that a student of the Institute of Management and Technology Enugu, Enugu State, identified as Stanley Ogwo has reportedly been kidnapped.

Stanley, son of a presenter with the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria, Godwin Ogwo, was reportedly kidnapped on Thursday while on his way to school from his Emene residence.

Ogwo, who confirmed the incident to journalists, said his son is in National Diploma student at the institute.

He said his son was abducted in a commercial bus he boarded to school and that the abductors have contacted him.

“They merely asked if we are ready to comply; I was confused and I switched off the phone,” he said.
He, however, noted that abductors were yet to make their demand.
