Gunmen Abduct Local Government Official In Ekiti

• Unknown gunmen have abducted the Ekiti West Local Government Supervisor for Agriculture, Mr Ebenezer Busuyi.
• A source disclosed that Busuyi was kidnapped while driving in his personal car along the road.

Unknown gunmen have abducted the Ekiti West Local Government Supervisor for Agriculture, Mr Ebenezer Busuyi.

EKO HOT BLOG gathered that the local government official was abducted along Erijiyan Ekiti road.

A source disclosed that Busuyi was kidnapped while driving in his personal car along the road, adding that the car was left beside the road and whisked away by the kidnappers.

The source further stated that the police from Ilawe Ekiti had visited the spot of the incident, noting that the vehicle of the victim had been taken to police custody.

The spokesperson for the Ekiti State Police Command, Mr Sunday Abutu, when contacted, confirmed the incident, saying the command would work towards his rescue.
