Gunmen Abduct TASUED Staff In Ogun

• Unknown gunmen have reportedly abducted one of the staff of the Tai Solarin University of Education (TASUED), Ijagun, Ogun State, Mrs. I.B Abimbola.
• The abductors are yet to contact the TASUED staff’s family for ransom as of the time of writing this report.

Unknown gunmen have reportedly abducted the Deputy Director at the Information and Communication Technology Department, Tai Solarin University of Education (TASUED), Ijagun in Ogun State, Mrs. I.B Abimbola.

Abimbola was said to have been kidnaped by the gunmen around 7pm at Ijebu-Ode on Thursday.

The abductors are yet to contact the TASUED staff’s family for ransom as of the time of writing this report.

As gathered by EKO HOT BLOG, the abduction was confirmed by the Ogun State Police spokesperson, Abimbola Oyeyemi, noting that the police have begun a search for Mrs. Abimbola.

Oyeyemi said, “We got information that a university staff was kidnapped on Thursday night in Ijebu-Ode.

“The Command operatives have been sent out to search and rescue the victim unhurt. We are on top of the situation.”
