Gunmen Assassinate Hotel Owner And Wife

Kehinde Ibidunni, a hotel owner located at Atan-Ota in Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government Area of Ogun state, has been reportedly assassinated in his residence.

The incident, which occurred at about 0300hrs on Tuesday, 27th April 2021, saw Kehinde and his wife Elizabeth murdered in cold blood in his residence at Atan-Ota.The hoodlums were said to have attacked the 68year old man and his wife after they broke through the burglary proof of their apartment, being alerted by the noise it raised, Kehinde couldn’t escape on time before the gunmen got through and shot him at the spot.

The suspected robbers also beat up his wife and shot her too, scattering the house and took away the money they could lay their hands on making the whole plot look like a robbery.

Olayinka, the son of the deceased, describing his late father as “peaceful and loving”, narrated how he attended his wedding barely a month ago and added that what happened was absolutely an assassination plot.

However, Ogun state police command have already started investigations on the matter, although no arrest has been made so far.

Meanwhile, the family has arranged Friday for their burial, EKO HOT BLOG gathered.
