Gunmen Kills One, Abduct Pastor’s Wife Alongside 3 Others In Kaduna

Unknown gunmen on Monday killed one person and abducted a pastor’s wife alongside three others.

The unknown gunmen invaded a community in Angwan Barau in Chikun local government Area of the state, at about 4:00am.

According to an eyewitness who pleaded anonymity because of the security concerns, revealed that the kidnappers shot rapidly into the air, causing panic in the community.

The anonymous witness noted that one person was killed while four others inuding the wife of the pastor of Godiya Baptist Church, Mrs Jummai Ido, were abducted.

The identity of the abducted persons was given as Mr Luka Auta, Mr Sale Auta and Mr Yakubu Audu while Mr Ezra Haruna was killed.

The bandits have yet to make any demands meanwhile, the Kaduna Police Command was yet to confirm the incident as at the time of filing this report.

It could also be recalled that some unknown gunmen also kidnapped six students and two staff of the Engravers Academy in Kaduna five days ago.

The kidnappers has however increased their ransom demand from N50m to N80m for the release for the eight victims
