Gunshots As Man Attempts To Free Inmate In Court

• There were gunshots as man attempted to free inmate in court.

Ekohotblog reports that there were gunshots on Monday as a man attempted to free inmate brought to Lagos State High Court, Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS).

According to The Nation, it was learnt that the man was shot in his leg while attempting to free an inmate on the court’s premises.

It was gathered that the man was part of persons suspected to be associates of the inmate brought to court for the hearing.

Public Relations Officer of the Nigerian Correctional Service, Lagos State Command, CSC. OO Oladokun confirmed the incident to The Nation.
