In a letter obtained by Vanguard, Halima, through her legal team, P.D. Pius & Associates, condemned Rollas’ actions, accusing him of intentionally damaging her reputation. She expressed shock over the accusations, stating that she was neither contacted by the AGN nor given a chance to respond before her suspension was publicized on social media.
Abubakar emphasized that the false allegations were aimed at “denigrating her, casting aspersions on her character, and provoking public criticism.”
The actress is demanding the immediate removal of the defamatory post and a public apology on Rollas’ Instagram page.

The letter further highlighted Abubakar’s ongoing health struggles, stating, “Despite her professional relationship with AGN, the President chose this sensitive time during her recovery to circulate false and damaging claims, causing her emotional distress and harming her reputation.”
Abubakar is also seeking N30 billion in damages for reputational harm, with a warning that legal action will follow if her demands are not met within seven days.
