Today, I celebrate a brother and friend and an Icon with an undying love, dedication, and commitment to ensure our beloved community is placed on the global pedestal.
While an occasion like this not only provides an opportunity to give thanks for overcoming all the hoops and uncertainties of the vicissitudes of life but also to express our heartfelt appreciation for the unprecedented and unbroken chain of quality representation witnessed in the Epe Federal Constituency.
Hon Wale Raji, we appreciate you for stepping up to the plate to serve humanity with a sempiternal passion and also offer hope to our teeming youths.
On a personal note, I thank you for being a brother and a friend. I have absolutely no doubt that the universe itself tilted in my favor when it made you my brother.
You have fought through humble beginnings of nothingness to become a beacon light of hope, and I could not be more proud to have played an active role in this dramatic spectacle that has been your life’s journey.
Indeed, your life has been a source of inspiration, and the difference between the society we grew up in and the one which you now chaperone has been the fact that you have demonstrated what true leadership entails.
You have demonstrated, in more ways than one, that real leadership is one of service, one which breeds hope and inspiration in the light of day even when the forces of disunity strive unremittingly to tear the community apart. You have also demonstrated that true leadership is one that does not only seek to wield power but one which empowers.
The times we live in may be dark and bleak. Still, it is characters like you that give us hope that we may find the spirit to navigate through the uncertainties that plague us as a people and re-write a script that will bequeath a better society for future generations. You have indeed recalibrated and beautifully rescripted the story of Epe division to alter the socioeconomic and political landscape of our beloved community forever
