‘Stay Calm, Hardship Will Ease Soon’ – Presidency Begs Nigerians
The Presidency has urged Nigerians to remain calm and patient as President Bola Tinubu’s administration continues to implement economic reforms.
This appeal was made by Delu Bulus-Yakubu, the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, during her address marking the 2024 International Poverty Eradication Day in Abuja.

EKO HOT BLOG reports that the event, themed Ending Social and Institutional Maltreatment, Acting Together for a Peaceful, Inclusive Society, focused on addressing poverty and social inequality.
Bulus-Yakubu emphasized that the government is working tirelessly to tackle the economic challenges facing the nation. She called on Nigerians to support the administration’s efforts to deliver on its mandate and guide the country towards progress.
“I want to use this platform to plead with Nigerians regarding the current economic situation.
“The hardship is surmountable, but it requires a gradual process,” she said.
“Please, let’s remain calm, show understanding, and support the administration’s renewed hope agenda to move our country to the next level.”
She further assured the public that Tinubu’s administration is introducing policies aimed at alleviating the difficulties many are currently facing.
