Last week, Kane was substituted late in Bayern Munich’s victory against Darmstadt, leading to scrutiny of the team’s preparation.

The 30-year-old was observed holding his left ankle following a collision with the post.

He was forced off with eight minutes of the match remaining.

Nevertheless, England remains optimistic as they persist in their preparations for the big match at Wembley on Saturday night.

A meeting of two footballing giants takes place at Wembley this weekend as England face Brazil in a friendly.

Both teams are preparing for big summers with Euro 2024 fast closing into view for the Three Lions and Copa America just around the corner for the Selecao.

England are unbeaten since being knocked out of the World Cup but failed to hit top gear in the last round of internationals, as they rounded off Euros qualification by beating Malta 2-0 and drawing in North Macedonia.

Gareth Southgate will have his eyes on bigger things in this month’s games against Brazil and Belgium yet a pair of wins will lift the nation’s mood considerably ahead of a title tilt in Germany.
