EKO HOT BLOG reports that Bayern Munich manager, Thomas Tuchel, has revealed that he has full trust in Sadio Mane, despite the player’s altercation with teammate Leroy Sane.
The former Liverpool forward had a bust-up with Sane in the dressing room following their 3-0 loss to Manchester City in the Champions League quarter-final first-leg. The incident resulted in Mane’s suspension from the game against Hoffenheim as he accepted the consequences of his actions.
Speaking at a news conference ahead of Bayern Munich’s Bundesliga clash with Hoffenheim, Tuchel praised Mane, saying he is a pure footballer and that he has the manager’s deepest trust. Tuchel also added that everyone can make a mistake, referring to Mane’s outburst in the dressing room.
Sadio Mane, who is one of Bayern Munich’s key players, was fined for hitting Sane, who suffered a cut lip in the altercation.
Prior to the move to Bayern Munich, Mane was instrumental in Liverpool’s success over the past few seasons, helping the team win the Premier League and the Champions League. He is expected to return to the team in Bayern’s next game.
“He [Mane] is football pure. He has my deepest trust after the mistake he made,” Tuchel told a news conference ahead of Bayern Munich’s Bundesliga clash with Hoffenheim on Saturday afternoon.
“Everyone can make a mistake,” he added.
