He Isn’t With Us – DSS Denies Arresting Ganduje’s Aide, Yakasai

The Department of State Services (DSS) has debunked claims that it has apprehended  the Media Aide to Governor Ganduje of Kano State, Salihu Tanko Yakasai.

Following the abduction of over 300 girls from a school in Zamfara on Friday, Yakasai had taken to his Twitter page to excoriate the Buhari led administration over its glaring Ineptitude to address the perennial insecurity that ravages the country.

He also lampooned the All Progressives Congress (APC), saying the party at all levels has failed Nigerians.

Rattled by the criticism of yakasai, which further serves to undermine the legitimacy of the present administration and underscore how unpopular it has become even among its party members, the secret police, expectedly, apprehended Yakasai.

His arrest was not immediately announced, spurring unsettled friends to take to social media to raise concerns about his whereabouts on Saturday morning.

Reacting to the reports, the DSS Director in Kano state, Muhammad Alhassan, said they did not arrest nor invite Yakasai.

“we have not arrested or even invited Salihu, don’t forget he is our friend, sometimes, he advises us on issues of critical Security situations in Kano”. DAILYPOST quoted Alhassan to have said.
