In a heartfelt display of compassion, the Lagos State Head of Service, Mr. Bode Agoro, has reached out to victims of the recent tragic accident in Epe, offering cash donations to aid their recovery and rehabilitation.
Ekohotblog reports that the accident, which claimed the life of Mr. Adeyeye, a Basic Technology teacher, also left several others, including a baby, injured.

The victims were involved in the ghastly motor accident while returning from a verification exercise in Alausa, Ikeja.
Represented by Prince Olusegun Osinaike, TG/PS of Education District IV, and Mrs. Christiana Yusuf, TG/PS of Education District VI, Mr. Agoro handed over undisclosed cash donations to the injured victims at their respective locations.
The financial aid aims to ease the burden of medical expenses and support the victims during their recovery process.
While presenting the donations, Prince Osinaike conveyed Mr. Agoro’s heartfelt message:
“The Lagos State Government is deeply saddened by this unfortunate incident.
On behalf of the Head of Service, we extend our condolences to the family of the late Mr. Adeyeye and pray for the swift recovery of those injured.
This token of support is a testament to the government’s commitment to the welfare of its staff.”
One of the recipients, who spoke on condition of anonymity expressed gratitude for the support, saying, “This gesture has brought some relief during this difficult time. We truly appreciate the government’s effort to stand by us.”
Mr. Agoro, in his message, reassured his dedication to the welfare of staff members, emphasizing the government’s commitment to their well-being.
“Our civil servants are the backbone of governance, and their safety and well-being are a priority. We will continue to work towards improving their welfare and addressing their needs,” he stated.
The family of the late Mr. Adeyeye also received condolences from the government.
The Head of Service urged all staff to prioritize safety and pledged ongoing support to prevent such tragic occurrences in the future.
