Headies 2019: Reminisce, Nancy Isime To Host Show

Nigerian singer Reminisce and actress Nancy Isime have been announced as the official hosts for 2019 edition of Headies awards.

The announcement was made by the organisers of the event which is arguably Nigeria’s biggest and most prestigious music award show on their social media pages.

The Headies award show is scheduled to hold October 19th, 2019.

The organizers had said only musical works released between January 2018 and June 2019 will be eligible for submission this year and stand a chance to be nominated for the annual award.

Running for over a decade, the 13th Headies would feature 29 unique categories in recognition of Africa’s finest acts.

This includes: Best Recording of the Year; Best Pop Single; Producer of The Year; Best Reggae/ Dancehall Single; Best Rap Album; Best R&B/ Pop Album; Alternative Album; Best R&B Single; Best Collabo; Best Rap Single; Best Vocal Performance (Male); Best Vocal Performance (Female); Next Rate; Hip Hop World Revelation; and Lyricist on The Roll.

Reminisce has won 2 Headies Awards; Best Collabo (Local Rapper featuring Olamide and Phyno 2015) Best Rap Album (El-Hadji 2018).

Nancy Isime is also a model and media personality. In 2009 she won the Miss Valentine International beauty pageant, and began a career as an actress in the TV series Echoes in 2011.
