Ekohotblog reports that as part of the ongoing vaccination campaign in Epe Local Government, nurses from Epe health center visited Saint Theresa Catholic Church on Sunday to give vaccines to church members.
They where able to get everyone received the right vaccine according to their age category.
The team was led by one of the Head Nurse Mrs. Omolara, the team gave vaccines for diseases like yellow fever, measles, human papilloma virus and polio.
Mrs. Omolara explained, “We know it might be inconvenient for some people to visit health centers, and that is why we have brought the vaccines here.
This will make everyone find it easier for to get vaccinated.”
Church members appreciated the effort of the local government chairman Hon Surah Animashaun and the medical teams who have made it easier for all to get assess to the vaccine.
Mr. John Campbell, a church member, said, “It has really been hard to find time to go to the clinic for the vaccine, but having you here in our church today is really a bonus to us all, and this will make it easy to protect our families.”
Mrs. Omolara also added that, “We’re doing this to keep everyone healthy. We’ll continue to visit other areas in Epe including School, Market places and more churches to make sure that everyone benefit from the vaccine.”
