Nyesom Wike, Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, has boldly challenged Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governors following his recent threats to instigate political turmoil in their states.
In an interview monitored by EKO HOT BLOG on Channels Television’s Politics Today, Wike insisted he stands by his remarks and rejected any notion of apologizing for his stance.
Wike’s comments come in response to a recent PDP governors’ forum communiqué that reaffirmed support for Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara, amid ongoing political tensions between Wike and Fubara.

Wike had previously vowed to create political unrest in any state where PDP governors interfere with the political situation in Rivers State.
“I stand by my words with no apologies,” Wike declared. “Heaven will not fall. If heaven were to fall, there would be peace. I am the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory from Rivers State.
“I have no personal relationship with the governor of Zamfara State, but I know and have relationships with other governors. They know me.”
Wike expressed his frustration over what he perceives as a breach of party loyalty. “You want to violate our party’s constitution, and after your meeting, you come out publicly to declare that they will support their friend in Rivers State, regardless of legality? And you expect me, as a minister from that state, to sit back and do nothing? That’s unacceptable,” he added.
