Heavy Shooting As Soldiers Invade Enugu Community, Set Houses Ablaze (Photos)

  • Soldiers have reportedly invaded the Enugu community and set houses ablaze.

 


EKOHOTBLOG reports that heavy gunshots rented the atmosphere in Isi-Nwgu Mgbowo in the Awgu Local Government Area of Enugu State, on Monday, as soldiers were said to have invaded the community.

It was gathered that the community was invaded by the security men around 5am on Monday.

Eyewitnesses disclosed that the soldiers also razed some buildings in the area, adding that the residents woke up to the sporadic gunshots in the early hours of Monday.

The reason behind the alleged invasion by the troops, however, remain unknown as of the time of filing this report.

The number of casualties were also yet to be ascertained.
