Days after Chief Sunday Igboho visited the Ogun community where Fulani herdsmen were terrorizing the people, the Herdsmen have retaliated by killing six persons.

According to the lawmaker representing the community at Ogun State House of Assembly, Honourable Wahab Haruna Abiodun, the community has been facing reprisal attacks from Fulani herdsmen since Sunday Igboho visited the area two weeks ago.

When Sunday Igboho visited the area, he set ablaze the Fulani settlement in the area, the home of Seriki Fulani in the area was also ransacked by the youths. Several cows have been missing since then.

The lawmaker representing Yewa North Local Government Area called upon the Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun, and the state security agencies to come to their rescue in the community.

He said this for Amotekun to come out and support the efforts of the police to stop incessant killings by Fulani herdsmen in the area.

The new attack in the community comes barely four days after a farmer, Dele Olowoniyi, was killed by alleged Fulani herdsmen,  EKO HOT BLOG  gathered.

There was no comment from the Public Relations Officer of the Ogun Police, Abimbola Oyeyemi, to the recent incidents.
