‘He’s A Failure And A Wrong Project’ – Italian Football Legend Blasts Ronaldo

Cristiano Ronaldo has been branded as a “failure” at Juventus, by Italian legend Antonio Cassano.

The Italian international was loud in his criticism of the Juventus Talisman, stating that the Serie-A defending champions made a mistake by signing the Portuguese Superstar,.EKO HOT BLOG    gathered.

“He has another year left in his contract, Juventus signed him to win the Champions League, but they have had worst results since he arrived. They would have won Serie A titles also without him. It was the wrong project.”

Although the Criticism on the Ex Real Madrid and Man utd star is a bit harsh, but Cassano was absolutely spot on with his words.

Ronaldo was signed for a record fee by the Italian giants to help them win the Uefa champions league. But since his arrival, the club have not been able to go pass the Quarter finals of the competition.

Juventus reached the Champions League final in 2015 and 2017, losing to Barca and Real Madrid in the process, the missing piece from the Juve team that went all the way to 2 UCL finals was a serial winner, which juve identified CR7 to be, but reverse as been the case for the third consecutive season now.

Juventus are on the verge of crashing out of the Champions League in the last 16 for the second year in a row, no wonder Cassano publicly blasted Ronaldo for not being able to carry the Italian giants.

On to the Domestic League, Juventus are 3rd on the log, they dropped 2 precious points at Hellas Verona last night. Juve are set to miss out on the serie-A title, a trophy they’ve won for 7 consecutive years prior to this season.
