Alhaji Moshood Oluwole Ojikutu, Chairman of the Governing Council of the Federal Polytechnic Offa, has commended the recent appointment of Dr Maruf Tunji Alausa as Nigeria’s Minister of Education.
EKO HOT BLOG reports that Dr. Alausa, formerly the Minister of State for Health and Social Welfare, was appointed as Nigeria’s new Minister of Education following a cabinet reshuffle led by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
This development has sparked excitement and garnered reactions from friends and well-wishers of the renowned nephrologist.
In a congratulatory message, Ojikutu expressed confidence in Alausa’s ability to tackle the critical challenges facing the education sector.
“Congratulations, Hon. Minister, on your reassignment to the Ministry of Education as the substantive Minister. The President and Commander-in-Chief must have recognized the determination and hard work you displayed in the Ministry of Health and decided to reassign you to the challenging Ministry of Education.
“The education sector is seriously fractured and needs a strong personality to manage it. Various segments in education are struggling, and the problems seem intractable.
“There is no doubt that you are capable of addressing these issues. May Allah grant you the wisdom and determination to succeed in this new assignment.
“Please remember the unfinished business in the Ministry of Health, particularly the upgrade of Epe General Hospital to a Federal Medical Centre—a project initiated by you. God bless you, and best of luck. Amen.”
