HICC Pastor, Bolaji Idowu Questioned by Police Over Alleged Fraud, Money Laundering

Bolaji Idowu, the Lead Pastor of Harvesters International Christian Center (HICC), is currently under interrogation by operatives from the Force Criminal Investigation Department (FCID) of the Nigerian Police in Abuja.

EKO HOT BLOG reports that sources within the police confirmed to SaharaReporters that Pastor Idowu has been detained in connection with allegations of real estate fraud and money laundering.

“Pastor Bolaji Idowu, known for his Next Level Prayer Conference, is in custody and being questioned in Abuja regarding the allegations,” a police insider revealed. Another source added, “He is currently being held at the FCID in Abuja.”

Pastor Idowu founded HICC in December 2003, and under his leadership, the church has grown significantly, with branches across Nigeria, the United Kingdom, and the United States. The church, according to its official website, now attracts over 70,000 worshippers both in person and online.

Apart from his pastoral role, Pastor Idowu also leads the “Next Level Prayers” platform, which aims to help individuals deepen their prayer lives through both offline and online ministry.
