Jamie Foxx has been in a Georgia hospital for weeks since experiencing a “medical complication,” according to a social media post from his daughter, Corrine Foxx. Although the specific details of the incident were not disclosed, his daughter did reveal that Foxx is “on his way to recovery.”
While Foxx has not made a public statement, his friend and fellow comedian, Martin Lawrence, shared some positive news about Foxx’s progress during a recent interview with “Extra.” He expressed that he has been praying for Foxx every night and that Foxx is “doing better.”
Lawrence’s remarks were made at his Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony, where he was joined by Steve Harvey, Tracy Morgan, and Lynn Whitfield. The “Bad Boys” star felt honored to receive the recognition and expressed gratitude to his fans, God, and his inspirations, Richard Pryor and Eddie Murphy.
Foxx is a respected actor, comedian, and singer with an impressive career spanning over two decades. He won an Academy Award for his portrayal of Ray Charles in the 2004 biopic “Ray” and has starred in numerous films and TV shows, including “Django Unchained,” “Collateral,” and “The Jamie Foxx Show.”
