According to Hudgens, a makeup artist working on the set recognized her spiritual connection and shared her own lineage of witches. Hudgens said that this encounter was a turning point for her, and since then, she has developed a “really beautiful, evolving relationship” with the metaphysical world.

Hudgens stated that she often uses a spirit box to communicate with any ghosts that may be nearby, and she loves visiting haunted places to see if she can feel anything. She said that she always brings her spirit box with her on the road in case she finds an abandoned building.

Hudgens’ ex-boyfriend, Austin Butler, recently shared in an interview with the Los Angeles Times that Hudgens had a “clairvoyant moment” in which she told him he had to play Elvis Presley on screen one day. Butler credited Hudgens for believing in him and helping him land the role.
