Ekohotblog reports that in a bid to empower the youth and support academic excellence, Hon. Abdullahi Sesan Olowa, Executive Chairman of Ibeju Lekki Local Government, has launched a series of free General Certificate of Education (GCE) classes for residents and indigenes of the area.
The initiative is designed to provide beneficiaries of the Free GCE Forms with additional academic support to help them excel in their upcoming examinations.

The classes is to be held at Adesalu Primary School, located at Desa Bus Stop, Ibeju Lekki, and are scheduled to commence on Monday, September 9th, 2024, at 2 p.m. daily.
The program aims to close education gaps by providing quality teaching from committed teachers who will help students prepare for the GCE exams.
Speaking about the initiative, Hon. Ogungbo Temitope Sofwan, Supervisor for Education in Ibeju Lekki Local Government, emphasized the importance of the program in uplifting the academic standards of the local youth.
“This is a step to ensuring that our young people have access to quality education and can compete at a higher level.
Hon. Olowa is committed to creating opportunities for our students to succeed,” Sofwan said.
The Free GCE Classes are part of Hon. Olowa’s commitment to improving education in Ibeju Lekki and giving residents the support they need to succeed in school and their careers.
All registered beneficiaries of the Free GCE Forms are encouraged to attend these classes and make the most of the resources provided.
The initiative has been well-received by the community, with many expressing gratitude for the chairman’s continued focus on youth development and education.
