Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila Set To Flag Off Road Reconstruction in Epe.

Hon. Wale Raji disclosed this to residents of Epe.

Epe Federal Constituency House of Reps Member, Hon. Wale Raji has affirmed that the Lagos State Government is a responsive and responsible government. He made the declaration while addressing constituents who witnessed his flag-off of Block of Classrooms and ICT Centers in Epe. He also toured schools in Epe, Eredo, Agbowa and Oriba communities.

He mentioned to Eko Hot Blog that Public figures from Epe community and Lagos State Government at large were bombarded with complaints. The public outcry and the recent protests by youths, he said, yielded a positive response from Government. He pointed out that one of the response was that of the Flag Off of the Epe-Ajah road from Eleko to T-Junction.

” We have been bombarded with complaints about the situation of roads in Epe since the beginning of the year but to show you that we are a listening government, the Epe-Ajah road, a state government road is getting attention. You cried; you spoke, the youths protested and the Lagos State Government responded. Last week, we witnessed the flag off of that road.
Now you also complained about Epe-Ito-Ikin road which is a Federal Government road, we heard your voice and your cries in Abuja and by the special grace of God, the contract for the reconstruction of that road has been awarded. By next week, by the special grace of almighty Allah, I am bringing the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila to flag off the road network.”

Hon. Wale Raji reiterated that the Epe-Ijebu-Ode road has already been taken over by the Ogun State Government. He stated that Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has already promised that the small portion in Ibonwon/Mojoda that will connect the Epe-Ijebu-Ode road will be completed. He also gave his heartfelt appreciation for the good people of Epe for according him the privilege to write his name in the sands of history as the first-ever House of Representatives Member representing Epe Federal Constituency twice. He was of the firm belief that such magnanimity from the people has continued to inspire him to serve.

” So, we are a listening government, we are a responsible and responsive government and we will continue to be responsive. I thank the beautiful people of Epe for giving me that, it is an unprecedented opportunity because, for the first time, a member of the House of Reps will be returned twice. And that has encouraged me to continue to give unprecedented representation to the good people of Epe Federal Constituency”, he said.

Hon. Wale recalled that when he came in, he had the opportunity long before then but he made up his mind not to go into public office to seek a source of livelihood. He also noted how discharging his family responsibilities has greatly helped him discharge his duties diligently as a servant leader.
