Ekohotblog reports that the Chairman of Eredo Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Hon. Monsuru Akinloyè Ismail, has called for full participation from the people of Eredo in the ongoing immunization campaign against life-threatening diseases.
The vaccination exercise, which commenced today, will run through November 2024, across all Primary Healthcare Centers in Eredo LCDA and other designated centers throughout Lagos State.
Speaking at the campaign launch, Hon. Ismail emphasized the importance of getting vaccinated.
“Vaccination is the best way to protect ourselves and our families from dangerous diseases,” he said. “I urge all parents, guardians, and residents to take advantage of this free vaccination. It is our responsibility to keep ourselves and our community safe.”
He assured the public that the government is committed to ensuring easy access to vaccines across the state.
“We have made these vaccines available at all primary healthcare centers and other selected locations. Our mission is to reach every corner of Lagos and ensure that no one is left behind in this life-saving effort,” Hon. Ismail added.
The campaign focuses on various life-threatening diseases, with health officials stationed across the state to provide guidance on the benefits of immunization. Residents are encouraged to complete their vaccination schedules to make the campaign more effective.
“The well-being of our community depends on each one of us. Let’s seize this opportunity and work together to build a healthier future for ourselves and future generations,” he said.
