Hon. Monsuru Akinloye Presents ₦5.5bn Budget to Boost Development in Eredo LCDA

- Hon. Monsuru Akinloye presented a ₦5.5bn 2025 budget focused on development in Eredo LCDA.

Hon. Monsuru Ismail Akinloye, the Executive Chairman of Eredo LCDA, presented a budget of ₦5,556,850,578.43 for 2025 on January 22 at the Legislative Chamber.
Ekohotblog reports that the budget, called the “Budget of Economic Prosperity,” focuses on completing current projects and starting new ones to improve the lives of people in the area.

Speaking at the presentation, Hon. Akinloye explained that the budget is centered on five key areas: building better infrastructure, improving healthcare, supporting education, empowering young people, and keeping the environment clean and safe.
“This budget shows our commitment to including everyone, bringing new ideas, and providing better services for the people of Eredo LCDA,” he said.
“We will finish all ongoing projects and begin new ones that will make life better for our community.”
He assured residents that his plans to run for a second term would not stop him from delivering results.
“Our focus remains on developing Eredo and making sure everyone benefits from good governance,” he added.
The Leader of the House, Hon. Tunde Bakare Olowo, praised the budget for its focus on development.
“This budget is well-planned and shows clear steps to improve our LCDA. We will review it quickly to ensure it is approved on time,” he said.
He also encouraged residents to pay their taxes to help fund the projects.
“By paying taxes, we can make sure this budget brings real changes to our community,” he added.
During the session, the legislative council passed a vote of confidence in Hon. Akinloye, recognizing his achievements and supporting his second-term bid.
The motion was moved by the Chief Whip, Hon. Isiaka Emilere, and supported by other council members.
“Hon. Akinloye has done a great job in improving education, healthcare, and infrastructure in Eredo. We fully support his reelection,” Hon. Emilere said.
