The virtual event brought together community leaders, stakeholders, young professionals, and students from across the Epe Division.
It aimed to explore how inclusive leadership can promote unity and collective progress within diverse communities.
During his address, Hon. Engr. Odeyemi emphasized the importance of ensuring that all voices are heard and valued in decision-making processes, regardless of their background or status.
He stressed that inclusive leadership is critical to bridging divides and fostering sustainable growth, particularly in communities with diverse populations.
“In a diverse society, just because you are not from a particular community or state doesn’t mean you can’t contribute to its development.
We must move beyond such barriers. As youths, it is essential that we recognize our collective role and take a direct approach in shaping the future of our communities,” he stated.
Hon. Engr. Odeyemi further highlighted the benefits of diversity, noting that it enriches communities, fuels innovation, and promotes inclusivity.
He encouraged the younger generation to adopt open mindsets and work towards building connections across cultural and social divides.
The session also touched on Hon. Engr. Odeyemi’s ongoing efforts to mentor and support young people, recognizing youth development as vital to the broader growth of the community.
