Eko Hot Blog reports that Hon. Ogunkelu Sketel and Wale Raji Anomo have officially inaugurated a five-day women empowerment program in a grand ceremony.
As staunch believers in the adage “idle hands are the devil’s workshop,” Hon. Ogunkelu has collaborated with the Ikosi Ejinrin Local Council Development Area (LCDA) to empower women in the political sphere.
Hon. Ogunkelu, known for his eloquence and articulation, has remained steadfast in fulfilling his election promises and prioritizing the welfare of his constituents.
The empowerment program, scheduled to run from February 5th to 9th, 2024, aims to provide women with materials and equipment needed to pursue their chosen professions.
Hon. Ogunkelu has pledged to personally ensure that participants receive the support they require to kickstart their entrepreneurial journeys.
“We are dedicated to supporting our women in realizing their full potential. By providing them with the tools they need, we are laying the foundation for their success and contributing to the overall growth of our community,” Hon. Ogunkelu affirmed.
The initiative has received widespread commendation from residents, with Mutiu Henry, a resident of Ward H1 Igbooye, expressing confidence in the leadership of Hon. Ogunkelu and his team.
“Ogunkelu we know, Sketel we trust, Dahunsi beyond 2027,” remarked Mutiu Henry, highlighting the community’s unwavering support for the initiative.
The launch of the women empowerment program underscores Hon. Ogunkelu’s commitment to uplifting and empowering the women of Ikosi Ejinrin.
