Hon. Sketel Rallies Support for Third-Term Ambition at Strategic OSCO Leaders’ Meeting

In a significant political gathering over the weekend, Hon. Sketel convened a high-level family meeting with the apex leaders of his campaign group, OSCO, across the five wards of Eredo Local Council Development Area (LCDA).
Ekohotblog reports that the event, held in Igbooye, brought together influential figures in the All Progressives Congress (APC), including Hon. Odubote and Hon. Oguntimehin, among other party stalwarts.

Addressing the gathering, Hon. Odubote commended Hon. Sketel for what he described as “seven years of purposeful leadership and tireless dedication to the people of Eredo.”
He reaffirmed his commitment to supporting Hon. Sketel’s third-term ambition, calling it a “continuation of progress for the good people of our community.”
“Hon. Sketel has served with integrity and vision. His projects have touched every corner of Eredo. We need continuity to consolidate these gains,” Odubote said.
Also speaking, APC Leader Hon. Oguntimehin praised the lawmaker’s track record, listing infrastructural projects and social intervention programs that have positively impacted constituents.
“From road construction to youth empowerment and support for the elderly, Hon. Sketel has proven to be a man of the people. We pray that God continues to guide and protect him,” Oguntimehin declared.
In his remarks, Hon. Sketel expressed gratitude to the OSCO leaders for their consistent support and loyalty over the years. He reiterated his commitment to the development of Eredo, highlighting both completed and upcoming projects.
“Town Hall Road, Igbooye will be completed this year. Jalugaye Road is also on our list for delivery in 2025,” Sketel announced to a round of applause. “We are not slowing down. Our goal remains to improve the lives of our people.”

He further appealed to aspirants and party members to maintain peace and unity as the 2025 elections approach.
“Party decisions are supreme. Let us eschew bitterness and embrace the spirit of sportsmanship. The interest of the people must always come first,” he urged.
