Eko Hot Blog reports that Hon. Sylvester Ogunkelu, popularly known as Sketel, the Lagos State House of Assembly member representing Epe Constituency II, has reassured residents that efforts to tackle the persistent electricity issues in Epe are ongoing.

“The power challenge in Epe has been deliberated upon on the floor of the House, and this move is already yielding results,” he said.
He further disclosed that solar-powered streetlights are being installed in major areas across the town.
“The installation of solar-powered streetlights is already underway to improve public lighting and safety,” Hon. Ogunkelu added.
The lawmaker expressed gratitude to Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, and the leadership of the Lagos State House of Assembly under Rt. Hon. Mudashiru Obasa for their support.
On electricity restoration, he said, “We are optimistic that power supply will be restored in the shortest possible time.
Residents are urged to remain patient as engagements continue.”
Highlighting his contributions to Epe Constituency II, Hon. Ogunkelu mentioned roads construction and rehabilitation, transformer distribution, regular palliative distribution, and other community development projects.
On governance, he emphasized, “Always make yourselves available and responsive to the people you represent.”
