“The article paints a misleading picture of a supposed crisis within the APC, falsely alleging that I am part of a faction seeking to abandon the party. This could not be further from the truth,” Ogunkelu stated. “I stand firmly with my party and remain dedicated to its ideals and vision for a better Nigeria.”
He emphasized that while challenges within political parties are inevitable, they should be addressed through dialogue and unity rather than misinformation.
“The challenges faced by our party are not unique. They are part of the political landscape we navigate. However, I believe in constructive engagement to resolve differences, not defection,” he added.
Ogunkelu reassured his constituents that his commitment to their welfare and the progress of the APC remains steadfast. He urged the public to ignore sensational reports aimed at causing division and to focus on “the real issues affecting our communities.”
“I will not be swayed by rumours or attempts to divide us. The APC has always been a party of progress, and I am dedicated to contributing to its success and the well-being of my people,” he declared.
The lawmaker further appreciated his supporters for their trust and reiterated his resolve to continue working for the betterment of Epe Constituency II under the platform of the APC.
