Ekohotblog reports that Hon. Wale Raji, a member of the House of Representatives for Epe Federal Constituency, has started the construction of a block of six classrooms at Adesowon Grammar School, Ilara.
The groundbreaking ceremony for the project took place today, bringing excitement to the school and the community.
Representing the Executive Chairman of Eredo LCDA, Hon. Monsuru Akinloye, the Leader of the Legislative Arm, Hon. Tunde Bakare, praised Hon. Wale Raji for his efforts.
“Hon. Wale Raji is truly making a difference. This new block of classrooms will help our children learn in a better environment,” he said.
Hon. Bakare also mentioned that, just last week, a similar groundbreaking was conducted for 12 classrooms at Pobuna Secondary School, Poka.
“We are grateful for these back-to-back projects. They show how much Hon. Raji cares about education in our community,” he added.
Parents, teachers, and community members also shared their joy about the project.
A representative of the school’s Parent-Teacher Association said, “This is a big blessing for our school. Our children will now have more space to learn comfortably. We thank Hon. Wale Raji for this wonderful effort.”
Speaking at the event, Hon. Wale Raji said he remains dedicated to improving education in Eredo LCDA and Epe Constituency at large.
“Education is very important for the future of our children. I want to make sure they have good classrooms and a comfortable place to learn,” he said.
