EKO HOT BLOG reports that the Welfare Secretary of the Lagos State chapter of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Hon Kehinde Adeniyi, has commended the impactful leadership qualities exhibited by Epe Federal Lawmaker, Hon Wale Raji, towards the socio-economic advancement of the people of Epe federal constituency.

Hon Adeniyi made this remark at the appreciation meeting held in honour of party delegates who partook in the primary elections at the Hon Wale Raji Constituency office on Saturday, June 18 2022.

This online media platform recalls that Hon Wale Raji polled 84 votes to defeat Princess Aderemi Adebowale and Hon Segun Olulade to contest the seat for a 3rd term.

“Hon Wale Raji is a sellable material, he’s a sellable candidate and this singular reason made it easy for us to get the support of our people. His sterling accomplishment in the office was also a determining factor as party stalwarts and members alike acknowledged his qualitative representation through their votes,” he stated.

Hon Wale Raji invited a total of 95 delegates from all 19 wards in Epe Federal Constituency irrespective of who they supported at the primaries.

He said it was crucial to physically meet and appreciate the delegates, stressing that phone calls and text messages wouldn’t have sufficed.

Hon Raji also pointed out that his heartfelt gratitude was sacrosanct as the party delegates who voted for him became his solid pillar of support despite the political tempest which trailed the primary elections before, during and after.

“Apart from the blatant lies peddled around, nobody made any attempt to change the primary election results, especially during the transition from Epe to Ikeja and finally Abuja. This is a testament to the fact that no one contested the primary election results,” he said.

He further stressed that for the sake of party cohesion and to forge a formidable front during the general elections in 2023, he said work is already ongoing to bring all aspirants and stakeholders together.

While he stated that clinching a whopping 93.4% of the total votes cast by the party delegates was no mean feat, he urged them not to rest on their oars in making sure the APC become victorious in the Presidential, Senatorial, House of Representatives and Assemblies and Governorship elections.

Speaking further, Hon Wale Raji hinted at the gathering of the latest project being embarked upon, stressing that contractors have begun work on some while others would kick off by month end.

These include the 2nd phase construction of the Epe-Itoikin road, Odosiwola road in Ward J1, Eredo LCDA, Recreation Centre at Agbowa Ikosi, an additional market at Eredo LCDA and reconstruction of Ayetoro market in Epe which will all simultaneously commence soon.

Others include the 2nd phase of the Itoikin market, continuous installation of street lights and another project to be announced in Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDA.

Hon Wale Raji also gave insights on the Cooperative Society project across wards with 2 Million Naira starting capital credited to the accounts.
