Over 50 hoodlums invade Abuja community, robs residents in the process

EKO HOT BLOG reports that ANGWA SIYIWA, Kabusa, a suburb in Abuja Municipal Area Council, AMAC, of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Abuja, was invaded by over 50 scavengers and hoodlums on Monday.
They entered the community around 3 a.m. on Monday, according to press release, and one of the vigilantes in the community who wishes to remain anonymous said the men robbed residents and carted away large sums of money and valuables.
Several individuals were hurt during the operation, according to him, and were brought to the hospital.
One of the residents, who did not want his name used, said one of the hoodlums was apprehended and brought the community youngsters to their hideout within the area, where the irate teenagers set the place on fire.
As this article was being written, the scavengers escaped and organized others to wage a fight against the community.

Women and children were also observed fleeing their homes for safer regions within the Kabusa neighborhood, as adolescents engaged hoodlums and scavengers wielding deadly weapons.
Some people also requested that the FCT Police Command send officers and men to the area.
