- Hospital Staff Delivers First Baby Of The Year At Ijede General Hospital
EKO HOT BLOG reports that a staff of General Hospital in Ijede has delivered the first baby of the year.
Mrs. Fatima Yakubu, a staff of General Hospital, Ijede, delivered a bouncing baby girl in the early hours of the morning.
In addition to two other women, Mrs. Adedolapo Ajibola and Mrs. Abdul-Ganiy Shakirah, also delivered their babies in the early hours of the new year.
Congratulating the women on the arrival of their babies, the Deputy Medical Director, General Hospital, Ijede, Dr. Olumuyiwa Balogun-Oluwa said the birth of the three babies is an indication that the year 2022 is going to be a rewarding, fulfilling and more prosperous year for all.
The Consultant Obstetrician and Gynecologist, General Hospital, Ijede, Dr. Babatope Oni, who took delivery of the three babies, said the other two babies, a boy and a girl, were delivered by Mrs. Adedolapo Ajiboye and Mrs. Shakirat Abdul-Ganiy at exactly 2.15 am and 3.55 am, weighing 4.2kg and 2.7kg respectively.
Dr. Oni disclosed that all three mothers and their babies are doing wonderfully well.
The Chairman, Ijede LCDA, Mrs. Khadijat Motunrayo Gbadebo-Alogba rejoiced with the families of the first three babies of the year at the hospital, wishing all the mothers and their babies a fruitful year ahead.
